SHERIFF JNR CARE FOUNDATION EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM 29TH SEPTEMBER 2025.
At the Sheriff Jnr Care Foundation, we stand by a simple belief: real, lasting change happens when everyday people get a true chance to succeed.
This past weekend in Osubi, we put that belief into action through our “MORE Cash” Empowerment Programme, supporting 152 resilient, hardworking petty traders with a total commitment of ₦175 million.
Who We Supported and How
150 Market Traders: Beneficiaries from Okpe, Sapele, and Uvwie Local Government Areas each received ₦1 million to help grow and strengthen their small businesses.
Expansion Grants: Two special beneficiaries, Felix Ogheneovo and Loveth Thomas Jinadigha, received larger grants of ₦15 million and ₦10 million respectively, enabling them to expand significantly and create more jobs in the community.
These recipients—food vendors, hawkers, and market women—are the backbone of our communities.
More Than Money: Giving Hope
This program is much more than just financial support. It is about giving hope, providing a fresh start, and giving families the chance to dream big again.
Our Founder, Mr. Sheriff Junior Oborevwori, explains our motivation perfectly:
